Since August 2011, we have provided a vital forum for the Hispanic business community to share ideas, concerns and successes. As local community leaders and Hispanic Chamber members come together, they build partnerships that allow Hispanic businesses and other members of the community to better understand the contribution that each one makes to the growth and development in Brazoria County. We conduct a wide variety of activities including: networking sessions, luncheons and dinners with local and Regional keynote speakers that are leaders in their areas. The Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce also provides scholarship and leadership to Hispanic students. We will continue these activities and will also:
- Advocate for the full participation of Hispanics in the economic opportunities in Brazoria County.
- Work to increase the opportunities that Hispanic businesses have to compete for public and private contracts.
- Work to increase the resources available to Hispanic businesses to help them grow and be successful.
Please join us by participating in events that highlight the contributions of Hispanic-owned businesses, Non-Hispanic Businesses and support of the development of our future businesses. The Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce appreciates your support and we look forward to your continued participation.
The U.S. Hispanic population is now 50.5 million and is projected to double over the next 35 to 40 years. Hispanic buying power will exceed $1.3 trillion in 2013 and Hispanics continue to be brand loyal even during tough economic times.
