Gina Aguirre Adams has dedicated her career to supporting the people and growth of Brazoria County. As the Founder and President/CEO of the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she has played a key role in advancing economic development, strengthening business support, and building meaningful community partnerships since 2011. Under her leadership, the chamber has grown into a trusted resource for small businesses and a strong connector across the community.
Gina’s extensive record of civic engagement includes a past appointment by the Governor of Texas to the Texas Workforce Investment Council. She currently serves on several boards, including the Texas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Coalition, the Port Freeport Community Advisory Board, the HCA Pearland Board of Directors, and as Vice Chairwoman of Community Health Network. She is also an Ambassador for Brazosport College and serves on the Advisory Board for Alvin Community College, further strengthening connections between education and workforce development. Additionally, she is a founding member and board member of Latina Women in Leadership, where she previously served as Vice President, advancing leadership and mentorship opportunities for Latina professionals.
Dedicated to international collaboration and cultural exchange, Gina played a key role in coordinating Sister City partnerships between Freeport, Texas and Altamira, Tamaulipas, as well as between Angleton, Texas and Belize, strengthening diplomatic and economic ties across borders.
Gina’s impactful work has earned her numerous accolades, including the Mims Community Brazoria County High Achiever Award (2012), the BISD Leadership Award (2013–2014), Freeport’s Woman of Distinction Award (2014), the TAMACC Joe M. Rodriguez Leadership Award (2019), the Honorary Award from LULAC (2022), and recognition as a finalist for The Facts Citizen of the Year (2024).
Gina continues to serve as a passionate advocate for local businesses, driving inclusive economic growth and championing the voice of the Hispanic community throughout Brazoria County and beyond.
