About Our Chamber

The Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (BCHCC), established in August 2011, is a not-for-profit organization and a member of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) and of the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC).

As to support the Hispanic community, the BCHCC:

  • Works to increase opportunities for Hispanic businesses to compete for public and private contracts in the area.
  • Provides information on available resources for Hispanic businesses to take advantage of in order to help them grow.
  • Keeps the Hispanic business community connected with opportunities to get involved in efforts ranging from community development, event planning and partnerships with other local businesses.
  • Provides leadership to the Hispanic community by encouraging more civic and political participation.

We conduct a wide variety of activities, including networking and informational sessions, workshops, luncheons and banquets for its members and local and regional leaders from their respective areas to attend. 

The BCHCC has a proven track record of advocating for Brazoria County’s business community at the local, state, and national level of government. To achieve the chamber’s goals, we meet with elected officials and community and private stakeholders, attend public meetings, and share information with our members and the community at-large.

Our Board of Directors and staff work diligently to support Hispanic and local businesses and promote joining the chamber, as a way of strengthening our local business community and enhance our influence in policy decisions.

In 2013, The Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was awarded “Small Chamber of the Year” by the Texas Mexican American Chambers of Commerce.

Today, we are growing our membership and continuing to be a positive influence in Brazoria County.
